Magistrate Eicher’s Bio

Magistrate Sandra Eicher joined the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas, Domestic Relations Division, in May 2017.  She has served Delaware County since 2009 as Staff Attorney for the Delaware County Child Support Enforcement Agency. Magistrate Eicher previously maintained a private practice limited to juvenile law, family law, and guardian ad litem work.   She has additionally served as Staff Attorney for the Franklin County Child Support Enforcement Agency; the Coshocton County Department of Human Services, Child Support Division; and Franklin County Children Services. 

Magistrate Eicher is a graduate of Strongsville High School in northern Ohio.  She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Akron with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science/Criminal Justice and received her Juris Doctor degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law (currently known as Cleveland State University College of Law).

Magistrate Eicher was commissioned through ROTC as a U.S. Army officer in 1987, initially serving in the Adjutant General’s Corps.  She was later reappointed in the Judge Advocate General’s Corps.  In 2012, after over 24 years of service, she retired from the U.S. Army Reserve as a Lieutenant Colonel.

Magistrate Eicher is a member of the Ohio Association of Magistrates, Delaware County Bar Association, and the Ohio State Bar Association.
